This stunning 1966 Shelby Cobra S/C was built by Contemporary Classics, 1 of only 3 companies approved to build these cars by Carroll Shelby, in Mt. Vernon NY. This car features a 427 side oiler engine with twin 4 barrel carbs parched on top. This beast of an engine is paired up to a big spline, top loader 4 speed manual transmission with Hurst linkage and the correct reverse Shelby shifter moving power to the rear wheels through a 370 rear end. To ensure control, the car rides on all 4 corners on a Jaguar independent suspension system and coil-over shocks. The rims are Halibrand pin drive knockoffs and the sidepipes are Jet Coated. The interior features an AC OEM wood steering wheel, Smith reproduction gages, Connoly leather seats and Wilton pile wool rugs. A truly amazing car!
