This is an excellent running and driving example of an L code 1967 Plymouth GTX. From the factory, this car came with a 440 cubic inch, 375 hp single 4 barrel engine. The car still has the 440 motor, but it has been treated to significant performance upgrades, not putting out a dyno proven 555 hp with 590 ft lbs of torque to the crank. There are around $10,000 in receipts, all of which go with the sale. The upgrades include aluminum Edlebrock heads and intake, custom aluminum valve covers, 426 crank and an MSD electronic ignition providing the fire. All that power gets to the 8 ¾” rear end through a 3 speed, 727 Torqueflight automatic transmission. The exterior is painted the correct yellow color with the black stripe being painted as well. The interior is showing black vinyl and features a center console floor shift. The drivetrain on this car was purpose built to be powerful and more importantly reliable! Most of the original parts to put the engine back to stock go with the sale. If you are looking for a fun, fast and reliable muscle car to take to shows on the weekends or cruise the open road, look no further.
